Welcome to our international online journal!

Greetings with Volume 4, Issue 2

Welcome to the second issue of our fourth volume. Since the first advent of our periodical, there might have been some changes and pleasing coincidences, we hope, in your lives. Maybe you have never noticed how the summer passed by swiftly which you have longed for all the year round while you were busy with your studies before computer among your files, or away from home, probably somewhere on the coast.

To tell the truth, your support and contributions in writing to our journal and the synergy created, we believe, will carry us to a position where elite, intelligent and enthusiastic people get together and share ideas in empathy; and will also lead to a linguistic circle.

We welcome your interesting observations inside and outside classroom, in the learning and usage of native or foreign language of your students, and your original views about foreign language teaching, linguistics and various aspects of modern Turkish as well as your scientific research on FLT, linguistics, methodology etc. We will be pleased to share your new ideas, projects, revisions and criticism about the above mentioned matters.

Before closing our lines, our humble words are for those who suffer from choosing or finding a subject matter to write on. Whenever you wish to approach to a language so as to see, understand and explore it as well several linguistic facts scrupulously, attentively and analytically, be aware of what you have experienced by taking some notes about what seems to you awkward, adverse, elliptical or redundant with the language. Later on brooding over those data, you can try to answer your questions by means of the resources you will attain and turn them into an essay or an article.

It is one of the ways that through our journal you can reach many readers and writers; and get feedback by sharing ideas. Feedbacks help us to develop ourselves and to gain new insights and diverse viewpoints.

To see your prospective, original and contributory writings for the forthcoming issue in April 2009, we would like to say welcome back to horde.

Sincerely,

Asst.Prof.Dr.Arif Sarıçoban
