I am deeply saddened to announce the loss of our Editorial Board member, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Oz, who passed away recently. On behalf of the JLLS family, I would like to offer condolences to his family and friends. I would like to extend my personal gratitude to him for the meticulous work he did for the journal. 

This issue of JLLS is dedicated to Dr. Oz.
